When cutting and sewing, there is a risk of injury from sharp cutting tools, needles, or sewing machines. Use tools carefully. - Choking Hazard
Small fabric scraps, threads, or fibers can be swallowed. Keep these away from the mouth and nose – especially for children under 3 years old. - Strangulation Hazard
Never let children play unsupervised with fabric lengths or ribbons to avoid the risk of strangulation. - Color Variations
Please note that colors may vary slightly from the original due to screen display or printing technology.
Processing instructions
- Use appropriate tools
Use sharp fabric shears or rotary cutters and suitable sewing machine needles for clean cuts and optimal results. - Avoid tensile stress
Excessive tensile force can lead to permanent deformation, tears, or tissue damage. - Prevent creasing
Store fabrics flat or rolled and not under pressure for extended periods to avoid permanent creases or wrinkles. - Note color transfer
Strong colors may bleed onto lighter textiles during the first washes. Wash separately. - Safety requirements for baby and toy products
When used for toys or crib accessories, the requirements of the Toy Directive 2009/48/EC must be observed and checked.
Security measures
- No food contact
Our fabrics are not food-safe according to LFGB – avoid direct contact with food. - Fire hazard when ironing
Iron only at the recommended temperature and use an ironing cloth if necessary. - Additional tests for children's products
Additional safety tests are required for clothing, bedding or toys. - Avoid UV and heat exposure
Prolonged sun exposure or heat sources can lead to color changes.
Care instructions
- Pre-washing recommended
Wash the fabric before the first use to remove excess dyes or production residues. - Gentle cleaning
Use mild detergents, gentle wash cycles, and avoid harsh chemicals. - Lint & pilling
Slight lint or pilling is material-related and can be reduced with gentle care. - Do not use bleach
Bleach damages color and fabric structure – please do not use.
Additional Notes for Special Applications
- Decorative Fabrics
For curtains, tablecloths, or wall coverings, the use of fire-retardant backings is recommended. - Safety Standards for Further Processing
If you process the fabric into new products, you are considered a manufacturer under the GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) and must comply with the relevant safety regulations.
